Scope to be decided. It is intended to give the lead to those unable to come to the Brighton Retreat. Location: Cooper's lane Tenants Hall, Purchese Street, immediately north of the British Library.
2030 dinner for conference members at The Far Side, opposite King's Cross Thameslink station. Please sign up on Monday even ing if you are coming so we know humbers.

Wednesday evening

everyone ends up at stockwell studios. Inura party / social event
With some movies / screenings of urban materials, delicious food. Bring whatever you like to drink and share it. Tube (or bus) to Stockwell (Victoria Line) turn right out of station, then take the first right turning, Jeffreys Road, then turn left into McCall Close. There it is.


Thursday 28 June

1100h INURA AGM at UCL Bartlett then depart from Bartlett 1400h to Brighton, all together in a bus, visiting the sea front too.

Also on Thursday: GLA Public examination of the London Plan, visit and discussion (Richard Lee and Michael Edwards - this would mean going to City Hall in the afternoon and taking a train in late afternoon to Brighton). There is a bit more info on this at the end of the VISITS document here.

Brighton 28 June until 1 July, retreat

University of Sussex campus at Falmer, Brighton. East Slope and Lloyd residence.
Days of seminars, presentations and discussions. What does everone want to talk about? Please bring your ideas - not just formal proposals for presentations, but other ideas too.
One part will be reporting back from the tours and walks in London

We have facilities for screenings and for use of laptops; 2/3 parallel rooms; 1 room large enough for everyone and one smaller, plus bars cafes etc

Friday early breakfast, then get to Brighthelm Centre very near Brighton station from 10.00 and we are there all day, with breaks.

Saturday at Cowley Club in London Road

ending 1800-1930 with a walk 1600 with Nancy on the downs ('downs'=hills behind Brighton)

Sunday dispersal. Suggested we go to Lewes for final discussions, an important historic town from which trains back to London are just as good as from Brighton.
